Co-Op Summary
INCOG is looking for highly motivated Co-Op to join our growing Operations and Engineering team in 2025. The successful candidate will be integral in supporting manufacturing processes for our State-of-the-art facility. The position requires enthusiasm, passion, attention to detail, and a desire to contribute in the production of rare disease drugs. Under guidance of his/her mentor, the Co-op student will be assigned to a department and/or project to execute projects that increase process efficiencies, reduce cycle time, cost, and improve overall quality of execution.
The Co-ops will be exposed to:
• Panoramic view of how the industry works, how decisions are made, how pipelines are built and progressed and how important your professional networks, connections and collaborations will be in defining your long-term career experience
• Fundamentals of biopharmaceutical manufacturing which is necessary to solve the problems as a member of an integral team at INCOG
• Expert groups in the areas of Engineering, Operations, Quality and Supply chain
• State-of-the-art bioprocessing approaches, automation and technologies, equipment and facilities used for manufacturing modern biopharmaceuticals
Essential Job Functions:
• Critical data management of clinical manufacturing results and process trending
• Support investigations, deviations, and CAPA closure
• Support production of the lifesaving drugs
• Draft and revise SOPs and Master Batch Records to support continuous improvement
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills to explain concepts clearly and gain alignment from stakeholders
• Actively participate in cross-functional meeting
• Works under a direction of a mentor
• Other duties as assigned
Special Job Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, be in good academic standing
• Must be an undergraduate/graduate student in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field of study
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) for a minimum of 12 weeks period (up to 6 months)
