Backed by technology with a human touch, we use machine learning and AI to personalise the collections journey and champion positive customer experiences — all so we can change the world of consumer debt for good.

Founded in Australia, today we're a team of over 300 people living and working around the world. We're rapidly expanding throughout North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. We’re a $50m revenue (and growing) organisation, having recently completed our Series C funding round, backed by leading investors such as Airtree. Now is an exciting time to join the team as we continue to make the experience of debt resolution smoother, and more human.

The Training Design & Insights Specialist will be part of InDebted’s Customer Excellence function — a global team on a mission to enable world-class customer experiences through training, quality, knowledge, systems, and reporting. We empower our support teams to do their best work by ensuring they have the tools, knowledge, and capabilities they need to succeed, no matter where they are in the world.Within Excellence, the Training team plays a vital role in onboarding, developing, and scaling agent performance across all stages of our global growth. We create training that’s thoughtful, targeted, and ready to evolve with the needs of our customers and the realities of our operations. As we expand into new markets and strengthen existing ones, this role helps ensure our learning content is structured, effective, and insight-led — with AI and data at the core.

What you’ll do (Responsibilities):
  • Learning Experience Design - You’ll lead the design and evolution of modular, high-impact training content tailored to agent workflows, systems, and customer needs.. You’ll develop templates, style guides, and design standards to ensure consistency and ease of localization.
  • LMS Systems Ownership - You’ll manage and optimize core LMS structures, automations, tagging, and user experience to support fast and reliable learning access. You’ll maintain LMS hygiene and version control processes, ensuring content remains current, searchable, and audit-ready.
  • Training Analytics - You’ll partner with Reporting, QA, and WFM to interpret training performance, identify gaps, and drive data-informed decision-making. You’ll visualize insights and learning impact across markets, surfacing trends and informing ongoing improvements.
  • Cross-Market Consulting - You’ll support newer and emerging markets with instructional design guidance, frameworks, and peer review. You’ll help ensure global training consistency while allowing for regional flexibility in content and delivery.
  • Collaboration & Enablement - You’ll work with Trainers, Ops, QA, and KM to embed learning content across the agent journey. You’ll ensure training materials are discoverable, contextual, and aligned to operational realities.
  • AI Integration - You’ll test and implement AI-powered tools for training content creation, delivery, and impact analysis. You’ll champion innovative use of AI in enablement and help scale training faster without compromising quality.

What we’re looking for:
  • You are a training design expert who thrives at the intersection of content, systems, and data. With at least 3 years of experience in instructional design, you know how to create learning experiences that are thoughtful, effective, and scalable. You’re curious about how people learn — and even more curious about how to make it better, smarter, and faster.
  • You’re systems-minded and AI-literate. You enjoy working with LMS platforms, playing with automation, and experimenting with tools that improve the learner experience. You know how to move forward even when the answers aren’t clear, and you can balance structure with creativity in fast-changing environments.
  • You bring a data-informed mindset to everything you do. You know how to analyze training outcomes, surface actionable insights, and translate learning performance into clear, practical recommendations. You don’t just report what happened — you help the team understand why it matters and what to do next.
  • You move confidently through change. You know how to make progress even when not all the pieces are in place, and you’re always looking for ways to simplify, improve, and scale. Whether you're designing a new module, piloting a dashboard, or introducing a new AI tool, you bring energy, curiosity, and a strategic lens to your work.
  • You’re a collaborative problem-solver who thrives on feedback. You connect dots across functions, turn complex needs into clear solutions, and bring insight into every conversation. You build trust through clarity, curiosity, and consistency — helping teams deliver with confidence.

What the candidate will learn and how will they develop at InDebted:

  • You’ll learn how to embed AI and data thinking into every aspect of learning design.
  • You’ll gain deep exposure to Operations, Product, QA, and Compliance — and how training enables each function.
  • You’ll grow as a strategic enabler, translating data, tools, and content into clear, high-impact learning journeys that scale.
