Industrial Engineer Intern - Summer 2023

• Attend Continuous Improvement daily team meetings
• Prioritize and support continuous improvement efforts at the Columbia Flex site
• Create simulation models to optimize layouts and processes for customer
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to include site Engineers and Operations personnel

• Junior/Senior student pursuing Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer BS degree
• Simulation modeling coursework
• Experience with optimizing Queuing Theory concepts
• Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Reporting skills, highly preferred
• Highly collaborative, interpersonal and excellent communication skills
• Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment
• Previous internship experience a plus!

• Available to work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment
• Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
• 3.0 minimum GPA
