Graduate - IC Layout Engineer

This opening is part of Infineon’s Graduate Program In your new role you will: • Perform custom layout of block level IP for our IC products and work closely with the IP designer to meet the specifications • Perform physical verification of the IP blocks such as DRC, LVS, ERC,etc... • Perform parasitic extraction of your block layouts and provide filesto designers • Document your work via reviews and signoff checklists • Support groups such as Packaging & Test to work through design interactions such as parasitic inductance and resistance You are best equipped for this task if you have: • Recently graduated or graduated in the last 12 months with a Bachelor or Masters' degree in Engineering, focus preferred in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing • Basic training in the full suite of Cadence software for schematics, layout and floor-planning • Familiarity with analog sensitive techniques such as shielding, centroid, dummies, etc • Experience in running and debugging DRC, LVS, ERC, etc. to generate aviolation-clean database • Strong communication skills, curious nature and desire to grow your skills • Sense of accountability for your work Infineon designs, develops, manufactures, and markets a broad range of semiconductors and semiconductor-based solutions, focusing on key markets in the automotive, industrial, and consumer sectors.
