Are you currently an undergraduate or graduate student and interested in strengthening your knowledge of HR practices, current trends, and project management skills through a full-time, 12-month internship? Do you aspire to learn about various HR functions and work across various HR teams within a large global, environmentally friendly organization to further develop your skills? In this role you will primarily support the US and Global HR Sales and Marketing Project Office, supporting various local and global initiatives and projects. You will work with multiple stakeholders across various HR functions and have an opportunity to support special projects, as needed. Through your involvement in these projects, you will obtain valuable exposure to overall HR processes. Allow us to support your growth and development of functional skills and business acumen, while you enter this exciting learning journey towards greater successes! This role is hybrid and requires the Intern to be on site in the El Segundo or San Jose, CA locations. In your new role you will:• Project Coordination• Work closely with the HR Project Coordinator, as well as local and regional stakeholders, to coordinate and execute project plans• Supporting tracking and reporting of KPIs• Develop functional skills and business acumen• Research current HR trends and advise on ongoing strategies, as needed• Brainstorm creative content for workshops/panel discussions/learning series events• Assist with the creation of presentations and other content in preparation of senior leader presentations Facilitation & Workshops• Prepare, facilitate, and moderate various HR meetings and workshops• Support preparation of agenda items, content and speakers; align with senior leaders to ensure meaningful topics are discussed• Capture action items and follow-up on information discussed during the meetings• Participate in special projects and perform other job-related activities, as needed• Document your learning journey and conduct a self-evaluation at the end of your program.• Have the ability to travel Domestically and to Mexico if needed.You are best equipped for this task if you have:• Current status of enrolled in a Human Resources, Business, or a related field program (BS required, MS preferred)• Strong written and verbal communication skills (i.e. written communications, public speaking, etc)• Strong knowledge and interest of HR practices and current trends, and general project management skills• Self-motivated, organized, with strong analytical skills and strategic mindset• Maintain confidentiality when managing sensitive information• The ability to demonstrate an exceptional drive for results and accountability of business needs• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint)• Creative, with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with ambiguity• Hold yourself to high standards of ethics and integrity• A Proactive mindset and approach to work• Experience in the Human Resources field is a plusRequired:Able to work full-time hoursAvailable for a minimum of 12 months for program successWork from our El Segundo, or San Jose, CA locations #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.As a global leader in semiconductor solutions in power systems and IoT, Infineon enables game-changing solutions for green and efficient energy, clean and safe mobility, as well as smart and secure IoT.
