Here, every challenge is an opportunity to advance, and every solution is a step towards a more secure and connected future. We look forward to welcoming you to the INflow team!

ABOUT THIS POSITION:

Are you a recent grad or self-taught coder looking to put your skills to the test? As an Entry-Level Software Engineer, you’ll jump into the deep end of software development, working alongside experienced developers to create, test, and deploy applications that make an impact. This role is perfect for someone who’s passionate about coding, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to real-world projects from day one.

Position Duties
  • Coding and Development: Write, debug, and maintain clean, efficient, and reliable code in various programming languages. You’ll work on everything from small bug fixes to full-scale feature implementations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers, designers, and product managers to understand requirements and contribute to the design and architecture of software solutions. Being a team player is crucial here.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Assist in developing and running tests to ensure code quality and performance. You’ll learn to spot and fix issues before they become problems.
  • Documentation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation for software projects, including user manuals, technical guides, and API documentation.
  • Learning and Growth: Continuously improve your programming skills by learning new languages, tools, and best practices. You’ll have access to mentorship and resources to help you grow.
  • Problem Solving: Participate in troubleshooting and debugging efforts, helping to identify root causes of software issues and proposing solutions.
  • Code Reviews: Engage in peer code reviews to learn from others and provide constructive feedback. You’ll gain insights into best practices and different approaches to coding challenges.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent practical experience and a strong portfolio can substitute for formal education.
  • Experience: No professional experience required, but internships, coding boot camps, or personal projects will make you stand out. Familiarity with languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript is a plus.

Skills
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically.
  • Good communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
  • Eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong analytical skills with a knack for debugging and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
