Job description:
The Influencer & Brand Ambassador Specialist I will assist the corporate communications team in deepening dōTERRA’s influence, market presence, and brand recognition. This role is responsible for helping seek out and maintain strategic relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors who fit well within doTERRA’s brand and are passionate about highlighting the efficacy and purity of doTERRA’s products as well as its mission to engage in good around the world.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process incoming influencer requests through email and on doTERRA’s social media
- Seek out new influencer talent to showcase doTERRA’s product, philanthropy and sustainability initiatives
- Act as a bridge to the social media team
- Contribute at least one blog post a month to doTERRA’s blog that highlights influencer and brand ambassador content
- Manage relationships, payment and fulfillment of all influencer and ambassador contracts
- Create and oversee monthly influencer campaigns that align with doTERRA’s marketing goals
- Request, approve and manage the delivery of all products for above-mentioned campaigns
- Coordinate with account management to seek out and find user generated content through our network of wellness advocates
- Help oversee and manage relationships with influencer consultants and vendors (Creator IQ, Hello I Am, etc.)
- Work with Creator IQ and data analytics team to obtain monthly recaps and reports on the ROI of our partnerships
- Coordinate with social media, sales and marketing to amplify influencer and brand ambassador posts
- Help negotiate contracts for larger brand ambassador partnerships alongside the Strategic Partnerships Manager and VP of PR.
- Report to the Strategic Partnership Manager on all product donations, influencer campaigns and brand ambassador programs on a regular basis
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, or communications in addition to 1-2 years of experience in corporate or agency environment
- Strong negotiating skills
- Thorough understanding of public relations
- Social Media Savvy - strong knowledge of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and blogging platforms
- Basic understanding of advertising and creative processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office solutions
- Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects (time manage, meet deadlines, and multi-task) in a fast-paced environment
- Must be an outgoing self-starter, organized, creative, accountable, and conduct oneself in a professional manner at all time
