The Role

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis, predictive modeling, and problem-solving to extract valuable insights from our datasets and support the company's strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of applying data science techniques to solve business challenges and contribute to the company's growth.

• Propose new systems to process and analyze data for new initiatives.
• Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and meaningful opportunities.
• Develop machine learning models and algorithms to address specific business problems, such as sales prediction, customer segmentation, and product recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with other teams, including the data engineering team and the business team, to understand business needs and objectives.
• Clean and preprocess data to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Visualize data and results to effectively communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Evaluate and select the appropriate tools and technologies for data analysis projects.
• Participate in assessing the effectiveness of data analysis strategies and propose continuous improvements.
• Stay updated on trends and advancements in the field of data science and apply new techniques when appropriate.

• Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Proven experience of 3+ years in data analysis and predictive modeling.
• Strong proficiency in Python, as well as data science libraries.
• Experience in handling large datasets and using both relational and non-relational databases.
• Ability to communicate technical results clearly and effectively to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in implementing machine learning models in production is a plus.
• Experience in BigQuery is a plus.
• Experience in building and maintaining ETLs; knowledge in how to deliver them to production is a plus.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Looker is an advantage.
• Knowledge in AWS and/or GCP services is a plus.
• Generative AI basic knowledge
