What You Will Be Doing
- Create reports that list security breaches along with the degree of harm they caused.
- Install data encryption systems and firewalls, or other software designed to secure sensitive data.
- Watch the company's networks for any security breaches, and if one does happen, look into it.
- To stay current on the subject and make use of cutting-edge technology to protect information, research the most recent information technology security trends.
- Create a security strategy for the business using the best practices and standards.
- To find computer system weaknesses and fix them before an external cyber attack, test computer systems frequently with simulated cyberattacks.
- Make security improvement suggestions to managers and senior executives to better protect the company's systems.
- Assist coworkers who need to install new software or become familiar with security measures.
