Information Systems Security Officer

As an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for the Platform Security business area in the Cyber organization, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for providing security engineering and integration services to our programs, you’ll develop and execute security controls, defenses, and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, and web-based systems. You’ll also research attempted or successful efforts to compromise systems security and design countermeasures, maintain hardware, software and network firewalls and encryption protocols, and administer security policies to control physical and virtual access to systems.

• Prior performance in roles such as System, Network Administrator or ISSO preferred
• Experience in preparing, reviewing, and updating authorization packages
• Proven ability to monitor system recovery processes while ensuring security features and procedures are properly restored and functioning correctly

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a related specialized area or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

Clearance Requirements:

Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance at time of Hire. Must be willing and able to obtain a polygraph within a reasonable amount of time after hire, with acceptable timing determined by manager. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $124,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
