What We Do

Thoropass combines simple software with expert guidance to help SaaS companies manage security compliance, security audits, and enterprise procurement security diligence. Thoropass helps companies adopt stage-appropriate compliance practices that enterprises can trust and reduce the time and costs of security audits by 50% or more.

We are a rapidly expanding team based in New York. We were founded in May 2019 and raised our Series C funding in November 2022. Our top investors include J.P. Morgan, PayPal Ventures, Fin Capital, Centana, and Bain Capital. We're growing customers and revenue dramatically, and we’re poised for continued break-out growth in 2023 and beyond.

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support for our employees and ensure the smooth operation of our computer systems and networks. You will provide technical support to our 200 employees, including resolving IT tickets, setting up new systems, recommending hardware, installing new systems, and troubleshooting technical problems.

What you’ll do:

• Manage user accounts and permissions
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for our employees
• Assist with the implementation of new IT initiatives and projects
• Manage and maintain our computer systems and networks, including cloud-based software, on-site networking and video conferencing solutions
• Set up and configure new hardware and software for employees
• Conduct regular system and security audits
• Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in IT support
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and procedures
• Create and maintain support documentation

• Strong technical knowledge of computer systems and networks
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in IT support
• Experience with Rippling highly preferred
• Relevant IT certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+ or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience( in IT Support or related role
• Proficient in MacOS, Windows, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Jira and other collaborative work tools
• Demonstrated familiarity with networking solutions, including enterprise wireless product deployment
• Experience with MDM, understanding endpoint hardening and security tools/programs also a plus
• Previous startup experience preferred

Your Compensation

• Competitive base salary of $95,000 - $110,000
