POSITION SUMMARY

The Initial Production Process Specialist – NOR Wells & Pads will be based out of the Tioga, ND. The qualified candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe process in the transferring of a well and operating responsibility, from one competent party to another, including the require data and documentation. In addition, it will take part in the flowing well surveillance and artificial lift optimization, while managing air emission constraints. Furthermore, the candidate will provide the capacity needed to support improvements on subjects such as technology/data analytics pilots; frac protect, lateral stimulation, and predictive analytics for frac interference. Also, support evaluation of alternative means of artificial lift and develop surveillance tools and standard work as appropriate.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary source for upstream Wells and Pads for new well / facility handover compliance and tracking.

  • Upstream Operations representative for COS coordination and documentation for greenfield and brownfield facility handovers.
  • Upstream Operations representative for PSSR coordination and documentation for new greenfield and brownfield facility handovers.
  • Coordination in conjunction with the area on Pre-IP site checks and compliance with standard work
  • Heavily involved in ensuring proper AAR’s are being held and areas are following the process. Engrained in continuous improvement activities coming out of AAR process.
  • Alignment across all operational areas to ensure compliance to the standard as well as developing process improvements across the asset.
  • Continuous focus on improvements in well/facility handover practices and process.
  • Continuous improvement on facility uptime and deliverability.
  • Works hand in hand with infrastructure and commissioning teams to establish process compliance and improvements to process’ within the facility handover process.
  • Upstream Operations representative for flowback handover criteria and ensuring process compliance around single well COS upon handover to operations.
  • Potential for growth and exposure to management and coordination of temporary equipment inclusive of oil, water, and gas coolers.


QUALIFICATIONS


Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required


Experience/Skills

  • Industrial / Oilfield experience
  • Wells and pads Operations experience (preferred)
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft)
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of safety requirements and practices
  • Ability to lead small teams and communicate expectations
  • Ability to build trusted partnerships across business functions
  • Organizational and prioritization management skills
