Sr. Program Manager (3-month contract - Chicago, IL) - REMOTE

Innova Solutions Company is hiring for a Remote - Sr. Project Manager on 3 month plus contract basis for a client in the Chicago area. Candidates must reside in Chicago area for this remote role in case of the rare office meeting. Pay rate is $70-$80/hr. If interested, please submit your resume for immediate consideration. Sr. Program Manager... Manages global cross-functional new product development teams, leading high priority compliance and regulatory initiatives and developing/improving key business processes that meet cost, schedule and scope requirements. Responsibilities: • Independently leads new product development and other projects of all complexity levels • Balances the elements of time, cost, quality, scope, risk and resources • Identifies, monitors, and responds to project risk • Manages scope changes and ensures complete supporting analysis • Participates in post launch audit output evaluations to recommend advancements for continuous improvement of project execution practices • Ensures project outputs are consistently high-quality deliverables, on time and within budget to all business objectives • Communicates project expectations to project team members, upper management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise fashion • Identifies, negotiates and supports the resolution to issues within project teams and between various functions • Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path • Partners with appropriate functional leaders to manage resources for projects, including requesting and releasing • Looks after the interests of the project team • Supports assignments outside of new product development as required • Manages and analyzes project and portfolio data • Facilitates business process development and training Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred. MBA also preferred. • 7+ years of experience in project management and leadership roles • PMP Certification helpful. • Experience leading projects and programs with high complexity and high levels of capital spend • Consumer products industry experience ideal but not required. • Strong focus and proven ability to facilitate relations between business groups and technology departments • Demonstrated familiarity with basic manufacturing processes and production planning • Logical and creative problem-solving and analytical skills • Possesses basic business financial knowledge • Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Project Online (or similar PPM tool) • Possesses influencing skills (leads by example, clearly articulates business cases and interpretation of cause-effect impact) • Develops and maintains constructive and cooperative working relationships • Highly effective organization and planning skills • Ability to scope and size work efforts effectively • Ability to support the needs of and interact appropriately with cross-functional personnel through executive leadership • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
