Must have:• Proven skill in conveying and advocating ideas, as well as imparting comprehensive knowledge to others.• Ability to provide high quality customer service via email/phone• Demonstrated competence in the use of computers and software applications; SAP, SAP C4C, Global Shop, Oracle ERP, SAP Ariba, MS 365, *Microsoft Excel*• *Strong willingness to learn*• Great communication skills• Strong sense of urgency - ability to accommodate to quick requests• Ability to be flexible/agile in the workplace• Able to embrace changeNice to Have:• Associates or Bachelors Degree• Understanding of compressor equipment, oil and gas production equipment, manufacturing, or engineered products for the oil and gas sectorInsight Global is looking for a customer service representative for one of our large manufacturing clients. This person will act as a primary contact for both internal and external customers, assisting with the development of applications for this companies' product for major global energy companies. This position collaborates with the internal Sales Team to identify business prospects, supports the engineering and design stages of product applications, and coordinates with the manufacturing team to achieve project and maintenance objectives for customers. A great fit for this position is someone who possesses strong computer skills and an aptitude with software. They must have a self starter mentality and be willing and able to learn the technical knowledge in order to be successful at this position. This person will need to have a high sense of urgency regarding internal and external customer requests, while maintaining a positive attitude.Responsibilities• Offer support and technical assistance for internal and external customers regarding products.• Answer emails and provide customer service via phone• Collaborate with our Technical Sales Team to learn how the client's compression equipment is used in their operations and to understand their requirements and expectations.• Oversee the Opportunity process: ie data collection, Quotation, Order placement, and Production.• Input and manage purchase orders, as well as customer orders.• Maintain various records and files• Establish rapport and provide prompt responses to internal and external customer• Make certain that all inventory items are accurately described and update the system with new inventory as required.• Carry out additional tasks or assignments as directed.
