We make classic car ownership easy moving away from the “one-off” restoration with its many unknowns to a manufactured product infused with legacy, authenticity, and performance.Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and innovative Graphic Designer, preferably with a background in agency work to join our team. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for aesthetics, a strong portfolio of creative work, and experience handling multiple projects simultaneously.They should thrive on constructive feedback, work efficiently under tight deadlines, and align with our company’s core values. This individual will play a vital role in translating our brand vision and restoring the unique spirit of classic vehicles through visually engaging designs.Reports ToCreative DirectorResponsibilities• Design & Development: Create high-quality, visually compelling designs across various media, including digital, print, and promotional materials.• Brand Consistency: Uphold and evolve the Velocity Restorations brand, ensuring consistency across all design materials.• Collaborative Projects: Work closely with marketing, production, and executive teams to support campaigns, sales collateral, and special projects.• Adaptability: Handle multiple design projects and effectively prioritize tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.• Feedback Integration: Be open to and act upon constructive feedback to continually improve the quality and impact of designs.• Problem-Solving: Approach creative challenges with innovative solutions that align with company objectives.Education And Experience• 3+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within a creative agency or a similarly fast-paced environment.• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); familiarity with video editing software and web design is a plus.• A strong, diverse portfolio demonstrating experience in various design disciplines, preferably with automotive or related industries.• Strong communication, time management, and adaptability skills; able to work both independently and within a team.Physical Demands (to include but not limited to)• Primarily operates in a professional office setting, requiring extended periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and attending meetings.• Ability to move around the office and occasionally travel to off-site locations.• Strong vision (corrected if necessary) is required for reviewing design work, proofs, and other visual marketing materials.• Must have the ability to use a computer, including typing, using design software, and handling print materials.• Occasionally required to lift and carry materials, such as marketing samples, presentation boards, or equipment (up to 25 lbs).• Flexibility to work irregular hours as needed during major campaigns or event deadlines.Benefits Include• Competitive salary based on experience• Fast paced, friendly team environment• Health/Dental/Vision/Life/Disability after 60 days• 401k plan after 6 months on next enrollment date• Paid time off and paid holidays, including paid week off during ChristmasJob duties, salary, and benefits are subject to change throughout duration of employment with Velocity.Velocity is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
