TEMP - B2B Sales Specialist

Insomnia Cookies, a globally recognized late-night retail baking company, is actively seeking a passionate and results-driven TEMPORARY B2B Sales Specialist to join our rapidly growing team through the end of 2024. This role, based out of our Philadelphia HQ 4 days a week, is crucial in driving our corporate sales initiatives and fostering proactive business development with both new and existing clients.


The position will start at 20-30 hours/ week and increase to 40 hours for November & December.


Position Responsibilities:
  • Manage and Close Inbound Leads: Promptly handle and convert inbound sales leads into successful deals.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities in bulk, catering, event, and third-party sales, building a robust pipeline for sustained growth.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every client interaction is positive and productive.
  • Sales Tracking and Reporting: Maintain accurate sales data, provide detailed notes on all customer interactions, and prepare regular reports to track progress against goals.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, external partners, and store teams to ensure our vision of “Warm, Delicious, Delivered” is consistently achieved.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative sales strategies to drive business growth.


Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Experience: At least 2 years of B2B/B2C product sales and/or service experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Prior experience helping generating revenue in excess of $1M annually.
  • Passion and Drive: A highly motivated, diligent, and results-oriented professional with a true passion for B2B sales and the hospitality industry.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to create mutually beneficial agreements with clients.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with outstanding attention to detail.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with CRM software like Kustomer is a plus.
  • Independence and Initiative: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while maintaining the drive and initiative to exceed sales goals.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for identifying opportunities and addressing challenges.
  • Team Player: A collaborative team player who can work effectively with various stakeholders to achieve common goals.
