Art Director - Summer Internship

Company Description

Inspira is a brand relationship agency. Did we make that up? Yes, yes, we did. But defining ourselves as a “full-service agency” just feels too generic. Instead, we focus on what people can expect every time they work with us: an integrated approach to cultivating deeper, long-term relationships between brands and consumers. The kind of relationships that don’t just drive sales, but help create powerful, active communities and long-term loyalty as well. Because the truth is, brands aren’t all that different from humans. The best ones are the ones people like getting to know better.

So, join us in driving meaningful impact for our clients, one relationship at a time.

Job Description

Are you the one in your friend group with the best style and most chic interior design? Do you have an unhealthy obsession with typography and design nuance that most people never notice, and yet it still matters to you? Us too. Let’s talk. We’re looking for talented problem solver who communicates best through visuals. You’ll partner with a Copywriter Intern to concept, design and present creative solutions that help our clients’ brands better connect with their audience across social media, brand experiences and integrated campaigns.

Availability: Candidates must be available for all 11 weeks
Timeframe: May 19 – August 1, 2025
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break
Location: Remote

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • First and foremost, be a sponge. Say yes a lot. Absorb and learn.
  • Beyond that, we’d ask you to concept and design for a variety of deliverables informed by a concise creative brief.
  • Have an opinion, we’d love to hear it.
  • Present completed ideas to internal team members and potentially clients
  • Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines
  • Ensure your creative solutions answer the brief
  • Stay on top of cultural trends and maintain best practices for social media
  • Be fearless. You don’t have all the answers but neither do we. Don’t be afraid to push creative boundaries.
  • Comfortable collaborating with cross functioning teams from a distance (creative team is remote)

Qualifications

  • Working toward or recently graduated from a degree in Advertising, Journalism, Strategic Communications or similar program
  • A portfolio that shows off your design, but most importantly, shows you can solve problems with ideas
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (We talk a lot)
  • Ability to take and implement creative feedback
  • Team player with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Passion. You’ll be asked to do things both big and small. Approach them with the same level of enthusiasm.
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Self-starter and detail oriented
  • Desire to have fun, push the envelope and make an impact
  • Manage administrative tasks with attention to meeting agency compliance guidelines and standards
  • A partner? If you have one already, happy to consider you as a team, if you don’t, no worries, we’ll pair you with one.

Additional Information

We believe stronger relationships lead to stronger outcomes—not just in business, but also in the communities we serve. That’s why since day one we’ve partnered with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, donating a portion of our profits each year to fund pediatric cancer research.
