This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the support and delivery of photographic assets for marketing channels on the M&S Account. The role is integral to the effective control of assets for the photography team, coordinating the delivery of all administrative elements of campaign assets, setting-up of trackers for shoots and supporting the approval process of imagery.
This role is key in translating M&S’s marketing vision into a detail line by line brief for both the photography and production teams to follow. You will create trackers with asset requirements, support the approval process of imagery, managing timings for retouching and delivery dates for final assets
You will build strong relationships with the art buyers and the wider Marketing team.
The role is integral to the prolonged success of shoots and POS for M&S, ensuring critical path deadlines are adhered to. This role requires excellent organisation, flexibility, proactivity, and relationship management skills, with the ideal candidate confident liaising with multiple stakeholders at all levels when required.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with art buyers to discuss and note down upcoming shoots for the next season. Art buyers to brief on key shoot details – brief owner, high-res/low- res dates. Data to be cross referenced on Monday board.
- Brief a season’s worth of shoots as project lines onto tech platform.
- Stay close to the detail of when the shoots are happening to ensure the stages entered on to the platform are correct. Ensure shoot sheets are uploaded to project lines.
- Once shoot sheets are uploaded, projects to be moved to select pack stage.
- Art buyers to flag once select meeting is complete and hand over hard drive with selects.
- Upload assets to platforms relevant brief lines for low-res deadline.
- Create proofs and add correct brief owners with a deadline of 3 days for retouch comments. Art buyers to alert if any assets require fast tracking.
- Send email to brief owners to alert they have a proof ready to review, highlighting the deadline for retouch comments.
- Send a reminder day before/day of to remind brief owner's retouch deadline date.
- Chase if comments are delayed and to flag if not getting a response.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with confidence to talk to multiple stakeholders of various seniorities across ITG & M&S
- You’ll be an organised individual, with an interest in processes, efficiencies and smarter working where possible
- Collaborative and proactive team player
- Actively contributes to the group in order to complete tasks, meet goals or manage projects
- You can demonstrate that you’re a quick learner
- Shoot experience, as well as a good understanding of shoots, sample management and production would be an asset but not essential
- Finally, you understand the importance of customer service, you’ll be working alongside our client and delivery is paramount
