Accounting Manager

Instawork is looking for a strategic Accounting Manager to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting and financial reporting skills and enjoy improving processes while ensuring compliance.

Strong accounting experience
Proficiency in NetSuite
Advanced Excel skills
Knowledge of GAAP
Strong communication skills
Management and supervisory skills

Responsibilities

Perform and review general accounting operational processing and reconciliation
Manage general ledger accounts and related reconciliations
Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
Manage month-end close in NetSuite
Prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP
Work with management on accounting workflows
Ensure proper internal controls and compliance
Analyze operational costs for decision making
Coordinate with auditors and tax professionals

Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting
