Instructure was founded to define, develop, and deploy superior, easy-to-use software. (And that’s what we did / do / will keep on doing.) We are dedicated to the fight against iffy, mothbally, shoddy software. We make better, more usable tools for education (you know, stuff that people will actually use) to ensure a better connected and more open edtech ecosystem. The mission of the EdTech Effectiveness Team at Instructure is underpinned by truly having an open edtech ecosystem where we leverage our own edtech solutions and the relationships with our EdCo Partners to optimize edtech efficiency, adoption, and effectiveness across the learning network, ultimately ensuring that Instructure’s mission of elevating student success, amplifying the power of teaching, and inspiring everyone to learn together is brought to life not only through our own products, but via all tools which integrate with our products. We want everyone everywhere to access education, make discoveries, share knowledge, be inspired, and do big things. We accomplish all this by giving smart, creative, passionate people opportunities to create awesomeness. So, here’s your opportunity.

Impact helps institutions streamline edtech adoption, enhance student engagement and support, and optimize faculty and student onboarding while reducing IT and ID support demands. By fostering greater communication and outreach, institutions can broaden their reach and ensure key information is received by various cohorts via in-app messaging. With real-time data, administrators gain unparalleled visibility into tool usage and adoption trends, enabling data-driven decisions that drive measurable ROI on edtech investments and ensure technology directly supports student success.

  • Hypothesis-Driven Innovation: Develop testable hypotheses and execute tests to drive discovery and innovation. Ensure continuous delivery of value.
  • Problem Definition and Solution Crafting: Work with the team to accurately define problems and create actionable user stories and acceptance criteria. Consider outcome potential, competitive landscape, technical requirements, user experience, and business goals.
  • User Experience: Advocate for an exceptional user experience by collaborating with design teams to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces. Continuously seek opportunities to improve the usability and accessibility of our products.
  • Execution/Delivery: Act as a voice of the customer and the market, ensuring that product enhancements align with user needs and industry best practices. Collaborate with engineering, UX/design, and data teams to define requirements, prioritize features, and drive successful product launches.
  • Effective Communication: Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal teams, stakeholders, and customers. Provide regular updates on product development progress, challenges, and successes.
  • Change Management: Adapt and thrive in a fast-growing environment where roles and responsibilities evolve.
  • Integrity and Collaboration: Model and inspire high levels of integrity. Encourage collaboration and provide candid and thoughtful feedback to inspire the team's best work.
  • Financial Awareness: Develop a basic understanding of the economics and financial dynamics of the organization and assigned products to align decision-making with business goals.
