Manager: Engineering Manager
This is an exciting opportunity to work on our breakthrough technology which is set to revolutionise industrial decarbonisation. You will have an active role in the scale-up of this technology, by taking ownership of all instrumentation & control discipline matters within our modular systems projects, including interacting with end-users, equipment suppliers, and EPCs across the full project cycle, spanning concepts to design, fabrication, and operations.
We are looking for talented engineers who are able to challenge conventional design in our next generation modular systems. Highlights of the position responsibilities include:
Participate in technical review of new plants including scope of work, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
Review update and develop instrument and controls technical documentation / drawings including P&IDs, cause and effect, and control narratives
Support design and deployment of fully automated Modular Systems which can be monitored remotely
Participate safety studies, HAZOP, 3D model review, constructability review, IDC
To be successful in this role you will need to possess the following knowledge, experience and skills:
Chartered Engineer with a bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred
Experience specifying and installing flow, pressure, temperature, level, analysis, and other process instrumentation
Knowledge of gas separation technologies used in gas processing, gasification, carbon capture, or industrial gas processes
Ability to work effectively in a small, developing, and entrepreneurial organisations; high level of flexibility and adaptability required
Pride in providing high quality and accurate information; always looking to improve the clarity and value of outputs
Develop strong working relationships with colleagues and other teams; build rapport through a consistent, confident and open communication style
Inquisitive, challenging seeking answers; looking for ways to improve things
