Insurance Pricing Analyst - Remote

Your Role: Applying insurance and legal operations knowledge, analytic methods, and technical skills you will be solving unstructured problems and performing analysis of higher complexity/difficulty.

Your work:

• Perform the complex analyses of data for assigned states/projects and how it relates to overall objectives. Typically assigned to cross-functional projects and must be able to anticipate questions and identify potential challenges. May lead project and be responsible for collaboration with other teams in pursuit of collecting findings, making recommendations and developing action plans.

• Evaluate analytical work done by others and makes decisions and recommendations that consider the internal and external environments

• Consult with business partners to identify and scope business needs and issues. Determines course of action, timeline and necessary participants.

• Coach and mentor co-workers and give feedback as required by using effective interpersonal skills

Required Experience, Education and Skills

• • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience

• 8+ years of analytical experience in related industry; multiple functions experience is preferred

• • Expert-level problem solving and critical thinking skills
• • Ability to multi-task and strong time management
• • Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to give formal presentations
• • Ability to work in a team environment
• • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAS, SQL, Visual Basic and various structured analysis and design techniques.

• In depth insurance/pricing knowledge and knowledge of the marketplace

The national average salary range for this position is $109,000 - $121,000. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence. The full salary range for this position across all the states we hire in is $93,000-$145,000. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 10% of eligible pay.
