Job Description

At Devoted we provide excellent clinical care to our members through a unique and collaborative approach. As a Clinical Trainer, you will be a significant contributor to the development and facilitation of training programs for our clinical team members during the onboarding and the continuum of professional development. Our mission is; to develop Education and Training centers of Excellence and ensure cohesive education and training across all Devoted Medical employee roles that will propel the organization to and through growth. The Clinical Trainer will collaborate with the Clinical Education Team to develop a deep understanding of our clinical service lines and their educational and training needs. You will create a positive learning climate so learners are engaged and motivated to seek clarity, enhance their abilities, perform new tasks and apply knowledge. As the Clinical team grows, the Clinical Education Team will support leaders and trainers in developing scalable training and continuing education opportunities for all team members of Devoted Medical.
Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Work with new Devoted employees on the clinical team to introduce Devoted Medical’s internal systems, services, and team culture
  • A significant portion of the role requires facilitation of instructor led training - virtually and in a hybrid model - across a wide range of topics
  • Incorporation of adult learning principles/methodologies into training delivery
  • Incorporation of blended learning principles (e.g. activities, case studies, analogies, role playing, mock scenarios) into training delivery
  • Partner to design and implement blended learning solutions for new hire training and on-going development of continuing clinical education for Devoted Medical
  • Successfully incorporate education delivery across multiple clinical roles and skill sets for all learners.
  • Ensure knowledge and training resources are current and accurate
  • Align with Clinical Subject Matter Experts to develop relevant content for Clinical teams
  • Assist in developing continuing clinical education training for clinical specializations within Devoted Medical
  • Use effective training methods to ensure employees have a good understanding of competencies and can demonstrate the proper knowledge, skills and abilities
  • Collaborator within the Clinical Education Team to determine metrics of success (KPIs) of training implementation

Desired skills and experience:
  • You have a minimum of 2+ years experience in learning facilitation and instruction
  • Clinical training experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Health Sciences (or related field) strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent facilitation and classroom management skills
  • Experience designing, delivering and assessing learning and training programs
  • Experience with the components of the learning development life cycle is helpful.
  • Organizational skills & able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and technology essential environment
  • Experience with working in several different technology platforms and a quick learner to understand new systems
  • Interpersonal skills & able to demonstrate flexibility and versatility.
  • Experience developing and integrating Continuing Education (CE) certification offerings a plus
  • Instructional Design Experience a plus

Salary Range: $58,000 - 62,000 annually

  • Our total rewards package is for full time employees only. Intern and Contract positions are not eligible.
