Job Description

Provide relevant, user-friendly business information in the organisation to allow for analysis and understanding of performance and for making optimal decisions.
Perform data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, and present them in an understandable and actionable manner.
Secure the multi-dimensional view of the business, when conducting the necessary analysis, to evaluate performance with the customer in focus.
Support the Business Steering team and other stakeholders in the organization by maximising the use of existing reports, and creating new reports/tools where needed.
Contribute to the development of global business information solutions as formats, evaluation of business opportunities, ad hoc reports, and support the business by providing simulations and scenarios.
Support Business owners and other stakeholders with data, information or insights needed for the development of their products.
Contribute to digital data products develop withing strategic areas defined by domains and capabilities.

Qualifications

Knowledge

Proven analytical skills combined with an ability to communicate figures in an understandable and inspiring way.
Knowledge of the retail industry, omnichannel retailing, emerging practices and technologies and consumer behaviours.
Good understanding of data science, recent technologies, analytics, and their wide-ranging application in business context.
Good understanding of IKEA’s strategic landscape and business direction.
In-depth knowledge of IKEA business tools, processes, and cycles.
