Compensation Staff Accountant

Intercom is seeking a driven and technically strong individual to join their world-class accounting organization as a Compensation Staff Accountant. The role involves owning various areas within compensation accounting and driving process improvements to maintain confidentiality and efficiency.

Skills

3+ years of accounting experience
Strong analytical and communication skills
Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
Knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles

Responsibilities

Prepare journal entries for various compensation accounts
Maintain detailed workbooks for company-wide bonus calculations
Audit sales compensation statements and data
Analyze variances and assist with financial analysis
Automate processes to improve efficiency

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA is a strong plus
