Job Description:
Microchip’s fast growing Microcontroller & Analog business is looking for a Reliability Engineering Intern, to help
bring new products to market. Based in our Chandler headquarters, you would be part of Reliability Engineering
team tasked with supporting the development teams. In addition, you would help shape and influence our data
collection for process and package indicators. This position is a short or long term internship and requires that
you are registered college/university student is required, while ability to work part-time. Freshman to level
engineering and science students are encouraged to apply.
  • Work alongside Engineers supporting Qualification and Product Monitor activities while also obtaining applicable work experience.
  • Learn reliability and qualification techniques and tools.
  • Working with team members to maintain and update our qualification database.
  • Working with team members on various process and packaging
    indicators.
  • Work in a lab environment performing qualification and monitor data collection.
  • Must be able to work independently, set your daily priorities, and work in a team environment.
  • Experience working in a lab environment is desired, but not required.
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Good problem solving skills are desired.
  • Document work performed and provide to engineers on the team.
  • Good communication skills required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Must be self-motivated, team player and adhere to Microchips company values.
  • This is a short or long term internship, thus ability to work part-time while attending college/university is required.
This position is not eligible for Microchip immigration sponsorship.
