Intern - Medical Affairs

Medscape, a division of WebMD, develops and hosts physician portals and related mobile applications that make it easier for physicians and healthcare professionals to access clinical reference sources, stay abreast of the latest clinical information, learn about new treatment options, earn continuing medical education credits and communicate with peers.

Position Overview:


Medscape Medical Affairs continues to grow rapidly with tremendous growth in 2022, and ambitious goals for 2023. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to kick-start their careers by working closely with experienced industry professionals in supporting the medical affairs team with the following activities and tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Creation and management of digital project timelines
  • Veeva uploads and management
  • Keeping status reports and project plans up to date
  • Creation of on-site manuals with support of a Program Manager
  • Participating in client calls
  • Setting up internal and client calls

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3.2 GPA
  • Must be returning as an undergraduate or graduate student in the Fall 2023 semester
  • This individual must be able to operate virtually and independently while balancing several ongoing projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment across multiple time zones. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with teams. He/she must have demonstrated personal initiative, flexibility, adaptability, and an overall willingness to learn.
  • Currently enrolled in at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree, this individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
