POSITION SUMMARY:
The intern will be responsible for assisting on various international tax/transfer pricing projects, including compliance with international documentation requirements as well as financial and economic analyses.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assisting in the compilation of transfer pricing documentation reports incorporating local qualitative information and related files
- Assisting in the alignment of US GAAP reporting units with legal entities for documentation purposes
- Assisting in the organization and cataloging of contracts used in economic analyses
- Preparing financial analyses summarizing the calculation of intercompany charges
- Assisting in various transfer pricing audit tasks including the gathering of information needed for audit responses and help with analysis of workpapers received during an audit
- Analyzing emerging international transfer pricing regulation
- Assisting on various ad hoc transfer pricing projects
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Juniors majoring in Accounting, Economics, or Finance preferred
- Accounting and analytical skills
- Technology/computer skills - proficiency in Excel and Word a must
- Good organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Interested in an Accounting, Economics, or Finance career
- Long Term Internship - Must be available for part-time internship during the school year and full-time internship in the summer and winter breaks
SALARY RANGE:
The salary range for this position is $16 to $17. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
