What to expect from the 2024 Nestlé Health Science Human Resource & Functional Development Internship
The HR Talent and Functional Development Intern will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This will include both Human Resources Business Partner and Functional Development support. They will be expected to perform a variety of tasks to gain experience, to include administrative tasks, research, data entry, analysis, customer service and other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the communication and implementation of PDP cycles, systems and processes
  • Assist in the design and content of Power Point presentations
  • Assist with the development of communication strategies
  • Assist with creation and implementation of training plans and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs
  • Maintain records of training activities and results
  • Assisting with the development of organizational culture initiatives
  • Assist with data analysis and reporting
  • Assist with benchmarking and best practices
  • Utilize research and analysis to identify areas of improvement
  • Provide support to managers and employees in the use of HR systems and processes

Experience
  • Some experience preferred, but not required.
  • Leadership experience through, but not limited to, an extra-curricular activity, organization, club, sports team, or employment.
Skills
  • Self-starters who are result-oriented, analytical, innovative, intellectually curious
  • Individuals who are accountable and who take initiative.
  • Ability to learn quickly, embrace change, and thrive in a fast-paced, environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • General computer skills including word, excel, PPT, outlook.
  • Understanding of HR processes and procedures.
  • Understanding of Learning & Development processes.

Areas of Study/Majors
  • Pursuing a degree in HR, Business or related field.
  • GPA of 3.00 and above preferred
