Intern, Wealth Management- Runyan Capital

Runyan Capital, based in Beverly Hills, is a leading wealth management firm dedicated to providing an elevated experience in financial services to our esteemed clients across the country. We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team and gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of wealth management. As our intern, you will have the opportunity to learn the intricacies of portfolio reviews, client communications, market analysis, and what it takes to manage high-net-worth portfolios. This job is designed to provide you with comprehensive exposure to the financial industry and an understanding of how Runyan Capital delivers the highest level of attention to our clients’ financial goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Portfolio Reviews: Assist in the preparation of portfolio reviews under the guidance of our managers. Learn how to analyze investment performance, asset allocation, risk management and other factors that contribute to the success of client portfolios.
• Client Communication: Support the team in handling mailing, correspondence, and other client communications.
• Market Analysis: Learn to stay on top of current market conditions and trends. Conduct research and analysis in identifying potential investment opportunities.
• Wealth Management: Gain exposure to the management of high-net-worth portfolios and understand the strategies implemented by our firm to maximize returns and mitigate risks for our clients.
• Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the team, including data entry and assisting with day-to-day operations.

Qualifications:

• Education: Currently pursuing or holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Analytical Thinking: Demonstrate a keen interest in understanding a client’s goals and objectives and portfolio management.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office: Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Ethics and Confidentiality: Uphold the highest level of ethics, integrity and client confidentiality.

The reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $20/hr. Colleagues may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on the individual and the firm's performance. At Wedbush, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at, or near, the top of the range for their role. Decisions regarding compensation are determined on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
