To gain valuable insight into Navy Federal’s business, technology, resources and procedures by providing support in Navy Federal’s Information Services Department’s (ISD) Talent Development and Communication (TD&C) team. The intern will develop and support talent development programs focused on mentorship, networking, and professional development for employees in ISD. Additionally, the intern will support talent management, onboarding/orientation initiatives, and performance management efforts. The ideal candidate is conscientious, detail-oriented, and a team player with high learning agility and the desire to combine theory and best practices with practical, hands-on experience. The intern will acquire valuable professional experience developing and supporting talent development programs through independent and collaborative team projects, while receiving guidance and direction from the team and management. This is a year-round, full or part–time, flexible internship based on school schedule.

Responsibilities
- Support the ISD TD&C team with talent development programs, including networking and professional development, job-role skill identification, and onboarding
- Engage in coaching sessions with employees and facilitate networking opportunities
- Design materials to support talent development programs, including email templates, handouts, PowerPoint slide decks, infographics, etc.
- Work with internal teams to support talent pipeline management, focus group facilitation, recognition events, and performance management
Qualifications
- Must be pursuing a degree from an accredited college/university, with a focus in talent development, human resources, business, psychology, or a related field
- Experience with relevant software including Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, etc.), and/or training (e.g., Captivate, Articulate)
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to exercise initiative, produce desired results, and achieve objectives
- Ability to work collaboratively, ask questions, and provide/accept feedback
- Ability to work independently on multiple assigned projects
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Strong attention to detail
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM. Minimum of 25 hours a week (hours TBD).

Navy Federal is now hybrid! Our standard enterprise requirement for a hybrid schedule is to report on-site 4-16 days each month. The number of days reporting on-site will ultimately be determined by the employee's leadership and business unit needs. You will learn more throughout the hiring and on boarding process.
Salary Range: $15.00 - $30.10 hourly
Navy Federal Credit Union assesses market data to establish salary ranges that enable us to remain competitive. Within this range, pay will be determined based on factors such as individual qualifications, location, and market position.
