What We Are Looking For
In this position, the Inside Account Representative will work with Level 1 tech support on calls. They will communicate with end users on post sales. This role provides tool support, talks to reps and end users for tool demo requests, and facilitates and maintains the tool demo pool. This position uses the database CRM to contact customers. No cold calling is needed. The Inside Account Representative can work from Panduit’s Tinley Park or Lockport site.
What You Will Do
  • Day to day maintenance of the tool demo program: follow up with rep agents and RMM’s on overdue demo tools in their regions, facilitate the repair or replacement of any lost/broken demo tools, manage and order any new tool additions into the demo program, and facilitate any questions about how to order demo tools from SAM’s and rep agents
  • Coordinate the L2 cases from tech support and reach out to product managers and regional TSEs as needed to get these resolved in a timely manner
  • Assist customers, over the phone, with setting up, trouble shooting, and basic maintenance on their new tools, demo tools, or existing tools
  • Provide basic on-line end user/rep agent product training: Die/Tool selection, Solar/Renewable product offer, EasyMark+ training, etools training (Cable cleat selector & printers), ROI Calculators (PAT Systems), and AVT v1.0 & v2.0 training
  • Assist with trade shows: order literature, marketing collateral, demos, and samples
  • Major solar project coordination: Manage CRM pipeline opportunities and coordinate with TSEs on the electrical consultants and specifiers on these projects
  • Coordinate, track, and support National Channel Partner RFQ’s for MRO projects
  • Facilitate any Rockwell APR opportunities with our rep agents on IA equipment
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years of experience in the electrical industry or basic electrical experience
  • Excellent communicator of technical topics and subjects to a technical and non-technical audience including WebEx presentations to groups of 5-10 people
  • Ability to learn and build upon your technical expertise
  • Understanding of distribution channels
  • Ability to learn quickly and maintain a wide portfolio of solutions as the technical expert
