Internal Auditor

Job Description

Tradeweb is seeking an Internal Auditor to join our growing Finance team! The Internal Auditor in this role will be responsible to participate in various types of audits including but not limited to financial, operational, IT, and compliance. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate to be a strategic partner to the global business as we expand Internal Audit’s mandate by executing a dynamic audit plan.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, participate, and perform in various types of internal audits
• Prepare audit workpaper documentation
• Assess results and draft meaningful, reliable and independent audit findings with value-add recommendations for management
• Identify, communicate, and track implementation status of management action plans designed to mitigate risk and/or improve processes
• Liaise and partner with the business to identify opportunities to enhance the control environment
• Assist with the risk assessment and Internal Audit Plan processes, including taking ownership of business areas to facilitate continuous monitoring efforts, designed to support our agile auditing approach whereby the Plan is adjusted to reflect changes in the company’s risk profile throughout the year
• Provide suggestions for improving audit and business processes
• Offer as needed assistance to SOX 404 and SOC 1 / SOC 2 testing

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Internal Audit and/or External Audit experience
• IT Audit Experience
• Critical thinking and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders and various teams
• Experience with Alteryx, Tableau, and auditing new system implementations is a plus
• Knowledge of accounting best practices; CPA or CIA certification a plus

• The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $80,000 to $120,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
