The Team: 

 Datadog's Finance team works with teams across the organization, providing commercial, operational and analytical support to ensure that Datadog's business continues to grow as rapidly and efficiently as possible.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for an individual with experience auditing and working with technology companies that are fast-paced, work ideally in the cloud or SaaS, and develop products that are used by millions of consumers globally. This position will work closely with the Internal Audit Manager, working across our global organization to identify technology and business risks and help manage the impact on the organization. You will participate in assurance and advisory projects within areas such as sales & operations, enterprise IT, data infrastructure, finance, financial systems, revenue engineering, and the technology platform.

You Will:

• Assist with the annual SOX 404 financial statement mapping, risk assessment and scoping process identifying significant business units, transaction cycles and critical processes and accounts ensuring an adequate scope and testing of the Company’s financial statements
• Obtain a thorough understanding of processes in order to document and enhance narratives, process flowcharts, control descriptions, and risk control matrices
• Execute SOX testing, include performing design and operating effectiveness testing, identifying issues and reporting, for key processes
• Coordinate with business owners to ensure controls are being properly designed and thought through when business or organization changes occur
• Assist in ad-hoc projects as required

You Are:

• BS/BA degree in Accounting/Finance 
• A professional with 1+ years of experience with public accounting and/or internal audit with financial audit experience/SOX 404 audit experience
• A strong auditor with experience in auditing public companies and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Section 404 and the Public Company Oversight Board (PCAOB) Standards
• Knowledgeable of the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, Section 404, PCAOB Standards, US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, GAAS, and other applicable professional guidance
• Knowledgeable of external auditor requirements and reporting
• A strong communicator (written and verbal)
• Proficient in G-suite and/or Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure; dependable with deliverables and deadlines, able to multi-task

Bonus Points:

• In the process of obtaining certifications: CPA, CIA or CISA
• Experience with Salesforce, Netsuite, Coupa, Workday etc.
• Knowledge of cloud systems: AWS, Google Cloud, Azure
• Experience with AuditBoard
