We are seeking an experienced Developer Community Marketing Manager to create outstanding developer facing content across various channels and lead the efforts in building, nurturing, and engaging our developer community. In this role, you will create marketing strategies to drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and foster strong relationships within the developer ecosystem. You will collaborate with product teams, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our community thrives and aligns with company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Community Engagement: Develop and execute strategies to grow and engage the developer community through various online and offline channels (forums, blogs, social media, events, webinars, hackathons, etc.) You’ll enrich the developer experience ensuring multi-media, multi-channel engagement. Act as the face of the brand within the developer community, promoting a positive, inclusive, and innovative environment.
  2. Content Development & Distribution: Create and manage developer-focused content, including tutorials, case studies, blogs, newsletters, and social media posts, ensuring relevance and value to the community. Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product, marketing) to craft messaging and technical content that resonates with developers and showcases the value of the company's products or services.
  3. Event Planning & Execution: Organize and execute developer-focused events such as webinars, hackathons, meetups, and conferences (both virtual and in-person) to drive community engagement and knowledge sharing. Identify speaking and sponsorship opportunities at third-party developer conferences to promote the brand and its products.
  4. Data-Driven Strategy & Growth: Analyze community engagement data, feedback, and sentiment to assess the effectiveness of community initiatives and optimize future strategies. Develop KPIs and performance metrics to measure the success of community engagement efforts and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Partnerships & Collaborations: Build and maintain partnerships with key players in the developer ecosystem, such as open-source projects, educational institutions, and industry leaders. Collaborate with external communities and influencers to extend reach and build a thriving, diverse developer base.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in developer relations, or developer marketing.
  • Strong understanding of developer culture, tools, and technologies (e.g., coding languages, APIs, SDKs, open-source).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for engaging with technical audiences.
  • Experience with content creation, event planning, and managing social media platforms.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling community engagement initiatives.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to measure success through data and metrics.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
