Manager, Career Transformation

Requirement: 

We are looking for an ex-technical recruiter with a passion for supporting career development programs to enable our students to:

  • Build out a professional transition plan
  • Secure more interviews
  • Improve their interview performance from one interview to the next
  • Make a successful transition into the most-coveted positions in tech (offer negotiation included)
  • Responsible for end-to-end career transitions of an assigned batch of students
  • Approving the completion and quality of Career Skills assignments, critical to a student’s successful transition (approving resume/LinkedIn quality for specific roles, reviewing interview feedback and developing preparation plans, collecting offer details)
  • Tracking individual student progress for multiple cohorts as they move through their interview and career transition processes
  • Communicating with students and hiring partners via calls, email, direct messages, video, or a mix of communication strategies (gathering requirements from hiring partners and identifying students who would fit the role)
  • Supporting the introduction of students to hiring partners within the Interview Kickstart ecosystem
  • Maintaining daily trackers (must be comfortable using Google Sheets, CRM etc) 
  • Working closely with all the internal teams to continuously improve the learning experience
  • Connecting our students with our support resources - technical, career, and guidance coaches, mock interviewers, or other resources when needed
  • Serve as the single point of contact for all students queries and concerns around the interview and decision phases of their career transition journey
  • Willing to work early morning/evening, night shifts, and on weekends. Compensatory offs would be provided on weekdays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+years of experience in tech recruiting or related functions (sourcing, recruiting management) in a competitive (fast-growth) tech company.

    Preferred Additional Experience includes:

  • Experience in career coaching and/ or career services in an Ed-tech environment
  • Exposure to customer service, customer success, program/ project management, recruiting coordination, student relationship management, operations, or related functions in an Ed-tech company.
  • Personality development training background
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills and analytical thinking
