Overview: 

Interwell Health is seeking an experienced Product Owner to join the Acumen team. This role will collaborate with key stakeholders including customers and executive leadership, to define a product vision and strategy aligned with business objectives. This role will also Identify and mitigate risks related to product development, ensuring that potential issues are addressed proactively.

The work you will do: 

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including customers and executive leadership, to define a product vision and strategy aligned with business objectives and clearly communicate the product vision and roadmap to the development team.
  • Represent the voice of the customer/business and be able to explain the “why” to the development team (what is the goal, why is it important)
  • Define and prioritize the product backlog based on input from stakeholders, customers, market research, and business goals.
  • Plan and coordinate releases, including defining release goals, scope, and acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct internal knowledge transfers to assist with development of release notes, training materials, and support knowledge base.
  • Work cross-functionally with developers, UX/UI designers, instructional designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software products.
  • Collect and analyze user feedback and use of the product, ensuring their needs are considered in an effort to continuously improve the product.
  • Assist with customer implementations, as needed, and act as primary contact for triaging support issues escalated to the product team.

What you’ll need:  

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience as an Agile Product Owner in software development
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and practical application in product development
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, and a demonstrated ability to positively collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive amidst ambiguity, prioritize and adapt based on changing priorities as well as strong organizational skills.
