Inventory Analyst (MRP/ SAP/ Supply Chain/ Oil&Gas)

Inventory Planner

Main Responsibility:

• Generate inventory reports and monitor plant inventory, working closely with respective department who are contribute to the inventory, prevent excess and provide mitigation plan.

Responsibilities:

• Tracking of incoming excess inventory and charge them out to relevant cost holders
• Generate inventory reports/KPIs and analyze changes
• Work with key stakeholders to work on opportunities to reduce active inventory
• Conduct excess/slow moving inventory review meeting with Materials/Engineering/Sales and Proposal
• Perform yearly/ monthly/quarterly inventory estimate to support financial requirements
• Work closely with master data controller to fine tune mrp parameters to control inventory building
• Support finance on obsolete inventory writeoff proposal and slow moving inventory provison projection
• Perform SAP inventory movement transactions
• Perform inventory analysis and identify trends/opportunities to decrease inventory.
• Identify inactive inventory, report potential financial impact, pursue consumption opportunities, and dispose of inventory in accordance with company policies.
• Identify root causes for excess and inactive inventory. Develop problem resolutions, create, and implement improvement projects, and measures progress.
• Coordinate with Finance and Manufacturing for WIP count

Requirements:

• Diploma and/or Degree in in Supply Chain, Engineering or Manufacturing
• 2 year experience in manufacturing environment or related field
• APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or APICS Certified Supply chain Professional (CSCP) would be ideal
• SAP or capable of utilizing ERP-type of software in managing the planning process
• 2-3 years’ experience in a MRP planning environment
