Senior Data Engineer, Remote (Mexico City, Mexico-based)

Job Overview:

Invitro Capital is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our growing team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure and systems. You will work closely with the Data Science and Analytics teams to ensure efficient and accurate data pipelines, data cleansing, and data transformation processes. Data Engineer, Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data architecture and infrastructure.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Develop efficient data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Collaborate with the Data Science and Analytics teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions.
• Ensure data quality and data integrity across all systems and databases.
• Monitor and optimize data performance and scalability.
• Identify and implement data governance best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the field of data engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
