Job Overview:


Invitro Capital is seeking a results-driven and experienced SEO/SEM Lead to develop and execute strategies that drive organic and paid search growth for our portfolio companies. In this role, you will be responsible for increasing visibility across search engines, improving rankings, and maximizing traffic from organic and paid search campaigns. You will lead efforts in keyword research, content optimization, and paid search management while collaborating with marketing, product, and content teams to ensure alignment with business goals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive SEO and SEM strategies to increase search engine visibility, organic traffic, and paid search ROI.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and content optimization to improve rankings and boost organic visibility.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of Google Ads and Bing Ads campaigns to drive targeted traffic and maximize ROI.
  • Collaborate with content, product, and development teams to ensure website content aligns with SEO best practices.
  • Monitor search engine algorithm updates, industry trends, and competitor strategies to stay ahead of the market.
  • Oversee A/B testing of landing pages and search ads to improve conversion rates and engagement.
  • Utilize SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz) and SEM platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads) to track and optimize campaign performance.
  • Deliver performance reports, including insights on rankings, traffic, and paid search campaign effectiveness.
  • Provide leadership in scaling search marketing operations and manage external SEO/SEM vendors as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in SEO/SEM, with proven results in driving organic and paid search growth.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz) and SEM platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using Google Analytics and other web analytics tools to track and measure performance.
  • Expertise in A/B testing, landing page optimization, and conversion rate improvement.
  • In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, SEO best practices, and SEM bidding strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with marketing, content, and product teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience managing external SEO and SEM agencies.
  • Experience with growth hacking techniques and rapid experimentation for search optimization.
