UI/UX Designer (Remote, Brazil-Based)

Job Overview:


InVitro Capital is seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to design intuitive and engaging digital experiences. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers working with JavaScript, Next.js, and React to translate design concepts into functional web pages. You will also maintain and update our website, ensuring it stays consistent with our brand guidelines and delivers a high-quality user experience.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Pacific Time Zone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Web Interface Design: Design engaging web interfaces, layouts, and components using Figma, with a focus on usability, user experience, and performance optimization across devices.
  • User Research and Analysis: Conduct basic user research and analyze feedback using tools like Hotjar or Google Analytics to inform and improve design decisions.
  • Wireframes and Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups in Figma, ensuring designs are responsive and adaptable for different screen sizes.
  • Collaboration with Developers: Partner with front-end developers using JavaScript, Next.js, and React to ensure smooth and accurate implementation of designs.
  • Website Maintenance: Maintain and update website designs using WordPress and Webflow, ensuring consistent branding and optimizing for performance.
  • Design System Management: Ensure design consistency across all web assets by managing components, icons, and typography within Figma.
  • Graphic Design Support: Design visual assets for web content, social media, and digital marketing using tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Mobile-First Optimization: Optimize designs for mobile-first experiences, focusing on responsive layouts and seamless user experiences across all devices.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in web design with a strong focus on UI/UX and usability, demonstrated through a robust portfolio.
