IT Admin (Remote)

This position is Full-Time and Remote within the United States.

As an IT Admin, you will support every user within the organization and play a pivotal part in generating new processes and owning systems and hardware support for the AMER and EMEA regions. You will be working on:

  • Own and be responsible for IT service requests including providing remote tier 1 & 2 help desk support for the AMER and EMEA regions. This includes day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, SaaS administration requests, ticket and system management
  • Identify, resolve or escalate technical problems for individuals and groups in an efficient manner, recognizing the proper course of action to take, communicating and escalating severe issues as appropriate. This includes the ability to effectively support remote users via Slack, Zoom, email and desktop remote control software
  • Laptop Lifecycle, Mobile Device, Inventory and Asset management: including vendor relationships, ordering, imaging, configuration of laptops, maintenance, warranty support, off board collection, and decommissioning of our hardware. Maintain end-user records to track and manage company assets and inventory. Ensure inventory, asset management system, and MDM align with necessary requirements to maintain our security certifications
  • Support our weekly New Hire Orientation classes including weekly new hire onboarding efforts, providing training, delivering onboarding documentation, and helping ensure that all new hires are set up for success on day one with the correct hardware and access
  • Configuration of computers and SaaS accounts for new hires and existing employees. Provide access to various SaaS tools, distribution lists and group mailboxes. Document any errors in automations to assist the Tier 3 team in enhancing the user experience
  • Cross collaborate with our Finance team and IT team members to implement, test, and deploy new technologies and processes
  • Collaborate and manage our EMEA MSP vendor, ensure timely procurement, configuration, and delivery of our assets to our EMEA existing staff, new hires, existing and off boarded employees
  • Document processes, procedures, and support guides to assist our staff with the most common troubleshooting requests and internal IT processes

We are looking for:

  • You are within driving distance to our Mountain View office to collect hardware on a regular basis or can relocate our hardware within a 2 hour driving radius of Mountain View. You are willing to assist in A/V and office setup in the Mountain View/Santa Clara County area
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an IT help desk environment configuring and supporting macOS in a non-A/D environment and Windows machines. You have strong knowledge of MacOS as we are a 98% macintosh environment
  • 1-2 years experience administering tier 1 & 2 support in a variety of SaaS applications including: Okta, Google Suite, O365, Adobe, Atlassian, Slack, and Zoom
  • You are action and solution oriented and look for ways to improve existing processes and create processes when needed. You thrive on taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm
  • You communicate clearly and effectively and can explain IT concepts to both technical and non-technical users
  • Learning Agility and Nimble: You learn quickly when facing new situations, take on the challenge of unfamiliar tasks, extract lessons learned from failures and successes. You leverage data within our environment, existing processes, systems, and whitepapers to ensure proper decision making and build processes accordingly
  • You are resourceful, can manage ambiguity by anticipating hardware delays and plan accordingly, work independently and anonymously, and ensure we are able to deliver our hardware to all employees globally on time
  • Solutions Oriented & Excellent Decision Quality: You are data driven, make good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward. You consider all relevant factors and use appropriate decision-making techniques
  • You have an extreme sense of ownership and customer focus. You love building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions and personify our company value of Customer Delight
  • Extremely detail oriented, plan, and align to ensure execution accuracy, proven success in taking initiative, capable of working on multiple projects, and highly organized to manage projects efficiently. Ability to prioritize and complete projects per IT Support SLA commitments
  • You are self-accountable and tech-savvy, have a strong desire to learn, develop your skills, take ownership of your responsibilities, and love incorporating new technologies and ideas to address today's issues

Nice to have (optional):

  • Knowledge of python, bash or apple scripting
  • MDM experience with JAMF or Airwatch a plus
  • Familiarity with international shipments and customs processes
