Data Management Architect (Cleared)

IT Concepts, Inc. (ITC) is seeking an experienced Data Management Architect to support a DOD SOCOM opportunity. ITC will provide the Government with program management and services related to emerging technology solutions including Enterprise Architecture (EA) and data science, application development and management support, training, and enterprise ecosystem support.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for designing, managing, and maintaining the SIE data architecture and infrastructure design.
  • Designs and implements the technical systems that store, process, disseminate and analyze data.
  • Develops and maintains data management frameworks, including data models, data analytics, databases, and data warehouses and/or integrate with the current framework and infrastructure to ensure the pedigree and providence of the SIE data across the enterprise.
  • Ensures data security and compliance with regulations by implementing access controls, encryption, and privacy measures.
  • Monitors the health and performance of data systems, identifying and resolving issues to maintain efficiency.
  • Works closely with other IT professionals and stakeholders to align data strategies with SIE requirements.
  • Oversee the integration and migration of data between systems, ensuring that disparate data sources are unified into a coherent architecture.
  • Creates and maintains detailed documentation of data architectures, processes, and standards.

Location: On-site in Fayetteville, NC

  • Journeyman level: A Bachelor's Degree and 3 - 10 years of relevant experience
  • Substitutions for education:
    • Associate's Degree plus 4 years work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree
    • 6 years work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Skills:

  • Expertise in creating logical and physical data models, designing schemas, and architecting data structures that meet complex DoD requirements.
  • Experience with tools/frameworks such as RMF, encryption methods (AES, RSA), access control models (RBAC, ABAC), data anonymization.
  • Strong expertise in integrating data from multiple sources and transforming it for storage and analysis, using ETL frameworks and tools.
  • Ability to analyze complex data challenges and architect solutions that improve system performance, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • ability to work with Teams, but self-motivated to complete projects on your own.
  • Ability to work fully on-site with minimal accommodation
