This internship is intended to give the intern a look into what a career in IT Automation could look like. The intern will work closely with the EIS Automation Services Team, assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of automation solutions. This is a 20-week paid internship.
The EIS Automation Services team provides automation and orchestration capabilities to increase efficiency, consistency, and accelerate speed of delivery to achieve operational excellence for the service lines of Enterprise Infrastructure Services.
Candidates should have an area of interest contributing to the following project tasks:
1.Building and documenting testing frameworks within Image Factory using Inspec.
2.Working with the Automation team to generate a logging scheme that provides greater flexibility, visibility, readability, and troubleshooting ability.
3.Code Release Pipeline creations and standardization using Azure DevOps Pipeline

Authorization to work and remain in the United States, without necessity for Mayo Clinic sponsorship now, or in the future (for example, be a U.S. Citizen, national, or permanent resident, refugee, or asylee). Also, Mayo Clinic does not participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.
The incumbent must be enrolled in a bachelors, masters or graduate degree program from a college or university. Typically, this internship would occur after the student has taken most of the courses required by the degree program.
Where applicable - the degree program must require an internship as a graduation requirement (or offer as a credit option).
