IT Program Manager (Remote Eligible)

Klaviyo's global corporate Information Technology (IT) team is responsible for providing technology systems, administration, and support to Klaviyos around the world. Our main goal is to ensure that Klaviyos everywhere have a strong technology foundation to do great work. The IT Team solves problems using technology and provides Klaviyo's continued scalability and sustainable employee growth in a rapidly evolving environment.

The IT Strategy team is a relatively new function within the IT team, responsible for project and program management of IT initiatives as well as technical business analysis and research. The IT Strategy team is highly collaborative and cross-functional, working closely with the IT Searchbar team (our end-user support team), our IT Systems team, and the broader Klaviyo organization.

About the role

As an IT Program Manager, you'll be responsible for project management and the facilitation of strategic IT initiatives. You'll ensure that projects are coordinated, delivered on time, and communicated well. You'll work closely with the various IT teams and a wide variety of Engineering and business operations teams, all under the leadership of the IT Manager, Operations.

How you'll have an impact

• You'll provide project management and facilitate team planning, progress tracking, communication, and reporting for strategic IT and technology initiatives.
• You will coordinate activities of supporting teams, track progress against the established plan and make decisions to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet business objectives.
• Perform risk analysis, develop contingency plans, and gather data from teams to proactively raise prioritization, scheduling tradeoff decisions and critical issues with key stakeholders
• Drive people, process, and technology improvement initiatives to optimize the delivery of business-level projects.
• Oversee and ensure all status materials are compiled, aggregated, and completed in a timely fashion and remain well-maintained
• Establish and monitor plans and ensure the realization of goals and continuous improvements

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of experience in project/program management, operational leadership, or strategic consulting for a SaaS business.
• You're experienced with writing problem statements and managing technical projects.
• You have a history of organizing, planning and successfully managing long-term and short-term initiatives in a fast-moving, fast-growing, and dynamic technology company.
• You're a good communicator with strong interpersonal skills who can balance persuasiveness with active listening of diverse perspectives to achieve positive results.
• You can act in a leadership role on cross-functional projects with clearly defined plans and objectives.
• You strongly desire to learn from and collaborate with various organizational functions.
• You have strong organizational, problem-solving, presentation, facilitation, and follow-through skills.
• You demonstrate the use of project management techniques and tools.
• You're flexible and can quickly change priorities and lead others through those changes.

Nice to have

• You've got a Project Management (PMP) and/or Agile Certifications (ACP).
