We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven IT Sales Representative. As an IT Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients, and driving sales of our IT products and services. Your strong communication skills, deep understanding of technology solutions, and ability to identify customer needs will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and achieving revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in IT sales, excellent negotiation skills, and a passion for staying updated on the latest technology trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, prospecting, and cold calling to expand the customer base.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline, effectively managing sales opportunities from prospecting to closing.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of potential clients, understanding their industry, business challenges, and IT requirements.
  • Engage with decision-makers and key stakeholders to understand their needs and present suitable IT solutions that align with their goals.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value and benefits of our IT products and services.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop customized solutions and proposals that address customer requirements.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing, ensuring favorable terms for both the customer and the company.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and activity updates to sales management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Stay updated on the latest technology trends, industry developments, and competitive offerings to effectively articulate the value proposition of our products and services.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential clients and promote our IT solutions.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop sales collateral, presentations, and promotional materials.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as customer support and implementation, to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of sold solutions.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in IT sales, preferably selling software, hardware, or IT services to businesses.
  • Strong knowledge of IT products, solutions, and services, with the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with clients.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong drive to succeed in a competitive sales environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the capability to identify customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the IT industry, market trends, and competition.
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
