Commercial HVAC Service Technician

This is a full-time, direct placement for Thornton Service

Thornton Service distinguishes itself by focusing solely on providing preventive maintenance and repair of commercial heating and cooling systems. Our company philosophy does not focus on construction projects or time and material work but rather preventive maintenance agreements. We limit our projects and time and material work to our client base. This enables us to give our clients the response time and service to meet their critical needs. Thornton Service employ’s only “A” technicians.

Thornton Service:

• Union: 100% Health Care paid by employer
• Union: Retirement funded by employer
• Eligible one week of vacation during the summer
• Eligible year end bonus
• Limited overtime work required
• $200.00 weekly on call stipend

HVAC Technician Duties:

• Perform installation and maintenance of heating and air conditioning systems
• Diagnose, repair and maintain HVAC systems
• Tasks may include installation, repair, adjusting, and cleaning units
• Knowledge of systems

Other Information:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• License (Certified Heating/Cooling Technician (CHCT) required for all positions)
• Excellent customer service skills
