The role:
Running large IT Asset Management (ITAM) managed services engagements and one-off ITAM projects of a complex nature within the SoftwareOne Software Sourcing & Portfolio Management organization. Supporting and coordinating client-facing team activities, while supporting in the execution of consultancy design and implementation activities. Advising clients on maturing their ITAM program and delivering the results of Software License Compliance analysis with regards to prioritization of risk and potential savings. Tracking Return on Investment (ROI) for clients and delivering regular risk and cost savings reporting. Some Consultants may also advise on Hardware Asset Management or FinOps activities.

Core Responsibilities:
Serve as a motivating role model and maintains the ability to coach less experienced team members in larger and more complex ITAM activities.
Supports the transfer of existing, established ITAM customer engagements between consultants as required
Produces content for the service community internally and externally (community, blogs, whitepapers)
Execute of tasks as defined within customer project plan
  • Ensures the execution of solution in accordance with SoftwareOne service and project methodologies
  • Communicates effectively with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Direct customer contact
  • May work on customer site (as required)
  • Contributes to Customer and SoftwareOne business review meetings
Skills needed:
  • Advanced Consulting skills
  • Project Management experience
  • Customer business process analysis and understanding
  • Advanced business writing skills for customer deliverables
  • Advanced data analysis skills
  • Ability to understand EULAs, Terms and Conditions, and where to find specific product rights
  • Coaching (training of team members on execution of tasks)

What we need to see from you:
What we need to see from you:
  • Required - Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in services outsourcing (as customer and/or provider)
  • Experience in IT consulting or software sales experience is a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of software and licensing contract terminology (be prepared to demonstrate knowledge for at least 2 major publishers’ licensing rules)
  • Good understanding of ITAM tools in the market to be able to advise customers on best fit (functionality and utilization)
  • Demonstrate good understanding of process design and workflow modulation
  • Accreditations:
    • SAM certifications (IAITAM CSAM)
    • Tool publisher certifications – at least one preferred; successful candidate will be expected to achieve at least one within their first year
      • Snow License Manager (Atlas)
      • FlexeraOne (FlexNet Management Suite, Flexera SaaS Manager)
      • ServiceNow SAM Pro

Target compensation for this role will be $113,000.00 (mix of base salary and bonus) and will be determined based on candidate qualifications, experience, and location.
