The coordinator will perform day to day tasks related to the MU Women’s Innovation Network and the Institute for Women’s Leadership under the direction of the IWL director.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Plan, execute and evaluate regularly recurring leadership programming events that target different constituent groups and are in line with IWL’s mission.
2. Meet with existing campus & community partners; outreach to find new partners for programs.
3. Develop and serve as the advisor for an IWL student advisory board.
4. Build multi-part leadership-focused training and cohort programs for students, staff, and faculty in collaboration with various colleges, departments, and workgroups on campus.
5. Establish a support network for future women leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs through informal gatherings, regular newsletters, and guest speaker events.
6. Support IWL by managing team meeting agenda & tasks.
7. Support IWL on specific projects, including research, copyediting, and conferences.
8. Attend campus partner meetings as they relate to supporting the mission of the IWL.
9. Promote IWL’s leadership programming via traditional and nontraditional media, including social, web, and print.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor’s degree required.
1-2 years of related experience.

Commitment to the mission of Marquette University
Ability to work effectively with diverse constituency of internal and external stakeholders and partners
Experience with managing details of event programming
Skills in project management, including budget management.
Ability to work independently.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and database
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience with program evaluation and assessment
