JOB SUMMARY
The DEI Project Coordinator will work with the DEI team and key stakeholders within Jabil to plan, organize, and manage DEI projects, initiatives , and deliverables, communicate with cross-functional teams , and assist with DEI reporting .
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver DEI initiatives across the organization; work internally with Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, HR , as well as other functions and key stakeholders in the broader global company.
Assist with coordinating meetings and events (in-person and/or virtually) to support internal training, programming, and education.
Assist with creating internal and external communications campaigns , including email copy, social media posts, and website content; and overall implementation of DEI initiatives.
Utilize strong organizational, communication, and project management skills; work independently on the execution of projects and deliverables and has experience developing, overseeing, and managing programs or projects.
G ather information to track project milestones and deliverables to report status updates.
Conduct research on industry best practices, demographic trends, and employee feedback to provide insights for enhancing Jabil’s DEI strategy.
Provides general support and partnership with key internal and external stakeholders.
Be an integral part of the DEI team, leveraging research, data, and best practices to help execute Jabil’s overall DEI strategy.
Ensures all of the project's requirements and/or objectives are correctly gathered, understood and properly translated for execution .
Coordinates tasks involved within project’s multi-functional teams to achieve company and customer overall p rogram success.
Complies with and follows all procedures within the company security policy.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Any certification in Project Management preferred .
Proficiency in the use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word , and PowerPoint ) , and e- mail skills required .
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree re quired .
0- 3 years of experience in project management , non-profit organization, communications, or event-planning preferred.
Or an equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; resourceful and proactive.
Superior time management and organization al skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and determine priorities.
Strong written and verbal communicator.
Ability to work across different functions and build relationships with stakeholders.
Self-starter motivated by the opportunity to implement and grow new and existing programs.
